The Email / SMS / Social Program Coordinator is a great opportunity to get plugged into a digital marketing agency. Our ideal candidate takes initiative, is ready and willing to learn, has strong communication and organization skills, and can effectively engage and motivate team members.
Although a remote position, it is preferred that this person live in the Evansville, Indiana area to attend regular meetings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in email and social marketing project meetings, keeping internal stakeholders and team members updated on project status and accountable for deliverables
- Serve as direct client contact and internal contact on assigned email and social projects; maintain ongoing contact with clients to manage the receipt of information and dissemination of information to team members
- Manage email and social project queries internally and with the client
- Work in Salesforce Marketing Cloud on a daily basis to update content, test and proofread emails/SMS/MMS/RCS messages, journey building, and email reporting
- Test emails utilizing a variety of email clients and automated tools
- Copywriting and editing content for emails/SMS/MMS/RCS messages and social content
- Run AB tests and assist in testing strategy development
- Present email concepts to clients for approval, and manage revisions, approvals, and final project deliveries
- Communicate with designers and developers on creation of email programs
- Ensure email and social deliverables are proofread, tested, accurate, and follow brand guidelines
- Strategize and maintain a content matrix for personalization
- Quality assurance that follows brand guidelines
- Track project milestones and deliverables, and ensure that deadlines are met
- Provide concise and timely status reporting as required
- Recognize and assist team members in resolving project problems, work with clients to resolve project-related queries and issues as needed, and facilitate decision making
- Execute organic social media projects, working cross functionally to ensure consistency across web, email, and social media
- Effectively communicate needs for various social media images and videos to designers
- Educate clients on social media best practices and be comfortable making recommendations to improve performance
- Monitor new features, updates, and trends across social media platforms to present to the client for testing and implementation opportunities
- Manage monthly social media calendar, including content planning and scheduling
- Analyze and report data to provide valuable insights into content performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent web or interactive experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a wide variety of digital projects, including concurrent management of maintenance/updates and new projects
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
- Experience with Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
