Program and develop fully functional websites and web applications
Develop websites and web applications using PHP frameworks and the latest front-end technologies
Solid understanding of what is technically feasible and make appropriate recommendations based on project risks, budget, timeline, milestones, etc.
Ensure consistency of design and functionality across all major browsers and mobile devices
Test and acquire approval of projects prior to launch
Provide technical advice to internal team members and clients
Write clean, concise code that conforms to modern best practices
Provide accurate time estimates for projects
Manage tasks within budget and schedule constraints
Manage multiple projects and meeting project deadlines
Comfortable using a Linux command line to work with common web technologies to deploy websites and web applications
Experience building responsive websites and web applications
Experience using either progressive enhancement or graceful degradation to support modern, dated, and mobile browsers
Knowledge of best practices for a frictionless user experience in both websites and web applications
Extremely detailed and organized
Goal- and results-oriented; strong self-management skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Solid work ethic
Strong customer-service orientation
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience with package managers and task automators.
Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce and/or Magento
Experience using MVC frameworks
Experience with CMS systems such as Drupal
Experience using web services such as REST, SOAP or GraphQL to communicate with, or build, APIs
